The EU delegation visited IMPACT project in Arkhangai aimag
Mr. Pierre Yves Lucas, Cooperation Team Leader of the EU Delegation to Mongolia, Mr. M. Byambaragchaa, Project manager at EU Delegation to Mongolia and representatives of the Federal Republic of Germany visited Arkhangai Province and got acquainted with the activities of the EU-funded IMPACT project implemented by AVSF Mongolia.
They met Mr. V. Munkhbat, Provincial Deputy Governor, and discussed the needs and importance of empowering women, and about the opportunities for future cooperation, especially to increase women's contribution to the household economy by supporting household production.
IMPACT aims to provide support to the development of sustainable cashmere and organic vegetable production in rural areas through encouraging women’s leadership and inclusiveness in local decision making process.
